Package: pcscd
Version: 1.8.13-1
Severity: normal
hi,
there is what happens:
the reader doesn't have its leds turned on after the boot, from what i have read
this is normal, pcscd starts when the socket is requested by an application,
but after a request is done(iceweasel boots slowly and is blocked few
seconds) the service seems failing to start(systemd status), the leds stay
off and the reader doesn't work.
the reader is a Vasco Digipass 905 v1.1
i have another reader for testing if there is the same issue with this one.
there is the workaround:
* start iceweasel without the reader plugged for starting the service without
fail
* close iceweasel
* plug the reader
* launch iceweasel(or another app using pcscd) and it works now
