Hello,

I close this bug report because some features you describe are not available
in the latest mc so the bug cannot be triggered.
Indeed, you talk about a 'backward regex search' in the viewer but it's not
available: with F6 the regex search can only search forward, and with F7 you
can search backwards but regexps are not available.
