Package: chromium
Version: 50.0.2661.75-1~deb8u1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

after upgrading to chromium 50, HTML5 video no longer works in with hardware
acceleration. On the
console, I get the following message repeated many times:

[28:30:0421/211603:ERROR:video_layer_impl.cc(369)] Not implemented reached in
virtual void cc::VideoLayerImpl::AppendQuads(cc::RenderPass *,
cc::AppendQuadsData *)

When disabling hardware accelaration, HTML5 video is working again.

I get exactly the same behaviour with chrome 50.

With chromium 49 I have no problem: HTML5 video works with hardware
accelaration turned on or off.

I found this problem on two systems. Both running jessie AMD64 with backport
kernel 4.4 (changing to stock kernel doesnt help).
Both system have intel graphics (the one I am reporting the bug from is
skylake, the other one broadwell).

Regards,

Juergen
