Hi,
thanks for the report!
I'm not sure which package is responsible for making "open in web"
work, but it's not gvfs-backends. The feature works on my laptop, but
this package is not installed, while it still fails in a chroot after
installing it (but works after installing chromium).
I'll close this bug (sorry for the delay here!). If someone comes up
with a clever suggestion, please follow up and/or reopen.
