Package: roxterm
Version: 2.7.1-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I experience lockups when I am typing too fast while output is happening
in the terminal window. How to reproduce:

 * Start a roxterm (in my case: with bash).
 * Start irssi inside the roxterm.
 * Type "Alt-B" to access the "Tabs" menu, then "m" to rename the tab.

If you do this fast enough so that irssi is still spewing out server
messages in the console window, roxterm locks up quite often
(everytime?). This lockup manifests itself in the "Tabs" menu entry
being activated (dark background), but the menu is not shown. At this
point, I cannot type to any of my roxterm windows or click any of the
menus using the mouse, and have to kill the entire instance, dragging
all other programs (mutt...) down with it. Other programs are not
affected - eg. I can start an xterm to kill the roxterm.

One obvious workaround is to wait until the server messages are
completely shown.

It would be great if this problem would not happen in the first place,
though.

Kind regards,
--Toni++
