Package: totem-xine
Version: 2.22.2-3
Severity: normal

It used to be possible to skip the trailers, FBI warnings and such from DVD by
pressing "n" (next chapter), however this functionality is gone now.

This is clearly a cripleware against the user control.

The closest thing I could find on Internet is this Ubuntu bugreport:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/totem/+bug/97572

Could anyone explain why this "feature" is still in 2.22.2 and in Debian?

The Xine backend has been removed a while ago. Please retest with a
current version (which uses GStreamer) and file a new bug report if the
problem still exists.

Michael
