The print to file dialog offers three output types: PDF, ps and SVG.
Printing to PDF creates a PDF, printing to ps creates a postscript file.
Printing to SVG also creates a postscript file.
I've checked the upstream bug tracker, looks like this bug isn't already
filed, but I haven't filed it neither. (not sure if it's really iceweasel's
fault)

Since OSX and Win32 don't have the PDF/PS/SVG options, the bug seems
GNOME/GTK related.

This bug has been reported against an ancient version of
iceweasel, that was last released with Debian 6.0 (squeeze). But
even squeeze-lts has now reached end-of-life and is no longer supported.
The bug is assumed to be fixed (or no longer relevant) in newer
firefox/firefox-esr releases and therefore I'm closing this report now.
If the problem is still reproducible in the currently supported
versions, feel free to provide more information, reopen
and reassign this bug report.
