We need consistent hash upstream support to connect multiple HTTP cache
nodes (varnish)
it seems this is currently disabled in the build scripts for nginx ->
debian/modules/nginx-lua/util/build2.sh:
--without-http_upstream_ip_hash_module \
debian/modules/nginx-echo/util/build.sh:
--without-http_upstream_ip_hash_module \
debian/modules/headers-more-nginx-module/util/build.sh:
--without-http_upstream_ip_hash_module \
I would hope it is possible to remove those lines in upstream and get nginx
to support consistent hashing in upstream.

Ip hash is enabled in all nginx flavors. The above files are shipped as
part of the nginx lua helper scripts and are not used.
