Hi,

Rhythmbox have developed an irritating bug when the crossfade backend
is used with pulsesink. It goes out of sync and plays silence for
periods of time.

This has been fixed upstream with two patches:

Those changes are included in the 3.4.0 upstream release. So closing
this bug report for this version.
