Hello,
I tested the hp2400 backend on my hp2400c scanner.
It seemed to work fine. It was so good that I decided to finish the
test.
After I quite quiteinsane though, the scanner started making grating
noises. It appeared it was trying to drive the head to the reset
position, but the head was already in the reset position. I had to pull
out the power plug on the scanner in order to stop it. I haven't yet
checked the scanner again, probably will have to boot Windows for this.
Probably not a good idea to test it again under Linux.
As such, the scanner failed the test, but only because of the exit
failing. I hadn't expected quiteinsane would make the scanner
quite insane...
Oh well :-(.
