Package: bbe
Version: 0.1.9-1
Severity: wishlist

GNU sed has the immensely useful --in-place switch:

    sed -i -e x y

is roughly equivalent to

    sed -e x y >y~ &&
    mv y~ y

It would be convenient if bbe(1) had the same functionality.
