Probably - you'll need freetype >= 2.4.10. Did you get it from here? It
looks like this repo only has 2.4.9:
https://github.com/chenxiaolong/Debian-Packages

If mpv works properly if you uninstall that package, then you should
contact whoever provides the infinality package for help.

As this isn't a Debian problem, I'm closing the bug report.
