Package: pidgin-microblog
Version: 0.2.4-1
Severity: normal

I use pidgin-microblog to connect to my account on brainbird.net.
That site uses an installation of statusnet (which used to be called
laconica).

The only problem is with the twitgin plugin, which is enabled
and configured to enable reply links and favorites links. Those
work with twitter and identi.ca accounts, but not for laconica
accounts.

Looking at the source for twitgin, I find things like this:

        if (g_ascii_strcasecmp(proto, "tw") == 0) {
                proto_id = TWITTER_PROTO;
                acct = purple_accounts_find(acct_id, "prpl-mbpurple-twitter");
        } else if(g_ascii_strcasecmp(proto, "idc") == 0) {
                proto_id = IDENTICA_PROTO;
                acct = purple_accounts_find(acct_id, "prpl-mbpurple-identica");
        }

So, it's just missing a case for laconica "protocol", which
will be identical to identica protocol except for having different
names. I think. :)
