Subject: d-i in Jessie image won't mount ext4 to /

Version: 0.5.0

After using simple-cdd successfully for several weeks, I now get the
following error during install:

'The attempt to mount a file system with type ext4 ... at / failed.'

To be sure this wasn't an issue with my configuration files, I created
two new environments (one x86 one x64) and ran build-simple-cdd with
no flags, using relying only on the supplied default.* files. While
Debian's supplied daily testing images don't seem to have this issue,
it occurs under both of these fresh installs.

#548919: simple-cdd: Built images fail to have modules, partition, or mount
filesystems

#780812: simple-cdd: mount a file system with type ext4 ... failed.

Both of these bugs are due to transient problems in debian-installer
(e.g. different kerel version in the installer and the archive), and
thus simple-cdd can't really do anything to work around the issue.

live well,
