When searching for light weight programs for older machines via
apt-cache search <pattern>
There is big difference between Xlib, GTK1, GTK2, Gnome. Using instructive
title helps to concentrate on those interested.

This information is provided by the depends line. If you're technical
enough to know that you do/don't want a GTK2-based panel, then you're
technical enough to work out how to search on the depends.
I'm not keen on cluttering up the description of the package with what is,
to most users, irrelevant information.
