See piuparts log file snippet below: eterm doesn't remove alternatives
properly. I suspect, but haven't tested, that this is because in the
prerm you do "update-alternatives --remove
x-termianl-emulator /usr/bin/x-terminal-emulator" and that you should
use "/usr/bin/Eterm" as the last argument instead.
