--- Begin Message ---Package: partitionmanager Version: 1.0.3-2 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I was trying to run partitionmanager with my new external drive (WD My Book 3TB usb 3.0 NTFS formatted) already attached to USB 2.0 port (my laptop has not any 3.0 USB port). The application was not running and silently crashing. I removed the drive and the application just run without a problem, scanning my internal sda properly. Then I connected the drive again and refreshed the available device, and again partitionmanager crashed. Tried it a couple of times, same result every time. The same happens to gparted. I'm guessing if the problem is in libparted. --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 3.13.6 Debian Release: jessie/sid 990 unstable ftp.uk.debian.org 990 unstable ftp.it.debian.org 990 unstable debian.fastweb.it 500 wheezy activsoftware.co.uk 500 testing ftp.it.debian.org 500 stable mi.mirror.garr.it 500 stable dl.google.com 1 experimental ftp.uk.debian.org 1 experimental ftp.it.debian.org 1 experimental debian.fastweb.it --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ========================================-+-=================== kde-runtime | 4:4.11.5-1 libblkid1 (>= 2.16) | 2.20.1-5.7 libc6 (>= 2.14) | libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1) | libkdecore5 (>= 4:4.4.0) | libkdeui5 (>= 4:4.3.4) | libkio5 (>= 4:4.3.4) | libparted0debian1 (>= 2.2-1) | libqtcore4 (>= 4:4.7.0~beta1) | libqtgui4 (>= 4:4.5.3) | libstdc++6 (>= 4.1.1) | libuuid1 (>= 2.16) | Package's Recommends field is empty.
