Package: inkscape
Version: 0.48.3.1-1+b1
Severity: normal

Hello,

I cannot search the Open Clip Art library in Inkscape. Here are the
steps to follow to reproduce the bug (100% reproducibility on my
machine), with the console outputs (my comments are preceeded by a #):

$ inkscape
# Click menu “File” --> “Import from Open Clip Art” --> type something
# in the search box, click “Search”.
# The name of a (single) found image appears in the images' list.
Emergency save activated!
Emergency save completed. Inkscape will close now.
If you can reproduce this crash, please file a bug at www.inkscape.org
with a detailed description of the steps leading to the crash, so we can fix it.
# X dialog appears: “Inkscape a subi une erreur interne et va se fermer
# maintenant.” (approximate translation: “An internal error occured,
# Inkscape will end now.”)
# Click the “Close” button.
zsh: segmentation fault inkscape

Attached is a partial strace, from right before the crash to the console
messages (there is some more stuff after, but it did not seem very
relevant). I did not include the full strace because it is extremely
verbose due to all the mouse events, but if you need it I can generate
one.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you need more information.

Cheers,
  Matteo

Apparently this was due to changes on the API of openclipart.org.
Arguably inkscape shouldn't crash, but upstream seems to disagree given
that they closed the bug on their side.

I'm closing this one too, as it's not really an actual issue anymore.
