Package: resolvconf

Version: 1.78ubuntu2

Error message: as in my title, and the same as in bug report #718232. (I
did attempt to send a report to [email protected], as advised by
message 32 of the original report, but the e-mail bounced because the
bug has been archived.) I note that it is now some three years after the
initial bug report.

Linux Mint 18.1 x64 (based on Xenial x86_64). Kernel 4.4.0-57-generic.

Best,

Nick

Thanks for the report.

Is there a bug in Debian, or only in Mint?

I assume only in Mint, so closing the report for now.

$ grep update-rc.d *
postinst:     update-rc.d resolvconf remove >/dev/null || :
postinst:   update-rc.d resolvconf defaults >/dev/null || exit $?
postrm: update-rc.d resolvconf remove >/dev/null
