I believe this is a gdm bug (you'll notice that these are gdm processes,
and for each fingerprint authentication worker, a matching password
authentication worker is also leaked).
The leaked authentication workers match the description of #794316
(a particular symptom) and #799179 (describing the root cause of #794316),
which I can reproduce on jessie but not stretch. Closing this as resolved
in the version I tested; in reality I think it was fixed long ago, but
I can't say precisely which version.
