Package: gs-aladdin
Version: 5.50-6
Severity: normal
Dear gs-aladdin maintainer,
Using a rather unusual PS-file which includes the same input page multiple
times scaled and shifted (using pstops) such that each output page, clipped
properly, shows 1/9 of the original page, I triggered a segfault that does not
occur with gs 5.10-2. The bug occurrs on the second page, which is the first
one which tries to write over the left side of the page.
The page size of the PS file is A3 (`%%PaperSize: A3').
The bug occurrs with the following calls I tested:
gs -q -sDEVICE=cdj550 -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -sOutputFile=__a.dj -dNOPAUSE -- _a.ps
gs -q -sDEVICE=pjxl -sPAPERSIZE=a3 -sOutputFile=__a.dj -dNOPAUSE -- _a.ps
but not with the other papersize settings (a3 instead of a4 and vice versa).
It also won't occur with monochrome printing as far as I could test it.
I can send the PS file (`_a.ps') directly to the maintainer if desired.
Thanks,
Bernd
