And you still haven't tried to use it?

This is non-sequitur. If I was to do that, most/all existing and
newer programs would crash when they run. IMHO, that would be bad.
There is a release candidate for 2.6.3 now, but its still to
address some known clangers.
In future, PLEASE read existing reports before filing things like
this "~5 months" down the track. Do you really think I was unaware
or that no-one else would have pointed it out by now?

would fairly clearly give you the answer to that. Please use it
before 'saving' your time at the expense of mine (and others).
