Package: owncloud
Version: 7.0.4+dfsg-4~deb8u4

Hi,

Following a security report at our owncloud installation, I attempted to
upgrade, but I noticed that I could only upgrade to 7.0.4 (from 7.0.3),
as that was the most recent version in the Debian repositories.

Fortunately, I located a third-party repository at
http://download.owncloud.org/download/repositories/stable/Debian_8.0/

However, the version they have is 9.1.4, and the gap is so big that the
database can't be upgraded. Apparently the recommended approach is to
upgrade by little steps, but the intervening debs can no longer be found
anywhere.

Thanks for remediating this (i.e. make available more recent versions
that 7.0.4, but still keep enough steps around to ease upgrading)

Thanks,

Alain

This won't be fixed.
Ownclound has been removed from the Debian archive due to upstream being
very unwilling to provide a helpful upgrade plan, exactly what you're
talking about.
