Snippet from #blendercoders IRC channel about this issue (hackerman is an
upstream developer):
<hackerman-> mfv: we do not support beignet, it should not be listed in
the interface by default
<hackerman-> mfv: only if user explicitly enables it using Debug panel
(which is hidden unless debug value is set to 256) or using
CYCLES_OPENCL_* environment variables
<hackerman-> mfv: this platform is not supported by us and seems it is
responsible for crash in this case
<hackerman->
CYCLES_OPENCL_TEST/CYCLES_OPENCL_SPLIT_KERNEL_TEST/CYCLESOPENCL_MEGA_KERNEL_TEST
are the possible env variables
<hackerman-> if someone use them it's all on their own risk
So it's not a package issue in itself.
Thus, closing.
Cheers.
