Dear Maintainer,

The new version of gnome meta package depends on gnome-documents which
in ture depends on tracker. Since tracker can produce an I/O intensive
background running, thereby slowing the computer a lot, it may not be
desirable to all GNOME users. Furthermore, gnome-documents has also
many problems in daily use. I just wondered if gnome-documents could
be recommended instead of being depended?

Thank you for your consideration.

Best,
HZ

Tracker is nowadays used by various components in GNOME so we consider
it an essential dependency and as a result gnome-core has a hard
dependency on tracker.
Which makes this bug report obsolete.
