Package: openssl
Version: 1.1.0e-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I have encrypted a text file with using openssl aes-256-cbc a few months ago
and, when tried do decrypt it, the output was totally garbled. When I copied
the file to another computer using jessie's 1.0.1t-1+deb8u6 version, it worked
as expected.

The openssl enc command changed the default digest (used to create the key
from passphrase) from MD5 to SHA256 since the version 1.1.0. The digest can
be specified with the -md option.
