Dear Maintainer,
I would like to kindly request a backport for Jessie of the version of
sqlite3 currently in testing. A recent version (> 3.8.10) is required as
a dependency for another backport I am looking to update (hyperscan).
Please see #858887 for more details [1].
I am happy to say that the currently packaged sqlite3 source builds fine
in a Jessie cowbuilder chroot for me with no modifications, so I am expecting
minimal friction.
If you would like to prepare and upload the backport, please let me know.
Otherwise I would be happy to prepare an upload myself to be able to
move forward with updating hyperscan.
