Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

I have subscribed to nntp group, where is a lot of articles with
attachments. This group was a mirror of an email list.
So I have comparision to open imap folders with the same messages in imap
folder and usenet newsgorup. (In IMAP folder these messages were showed fast
and correctly)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I tried to view some messages in usenet newsgroup.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

thunderbird hangs on third/fourth message with image in it.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

    Show image.
