Package: golang-1.8
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainers,

the current version of the golang-1.8 package in stretch is 1.8~rc3-1.
It should still be possible to get the updated version 1.8.1-1 released
with stretch with a simple unblock request. As far as I understand it,
only bug fixes have happened since the rc3 release.

I'd be happy to write such an unblock request but I wanted to check in
with you that there is no reason against doing so.

Cheers,
-Hilko

1.8.1-1 has migrated to stretch, therefore I am closing this bug.
