Dear Maintainer,
I have a Fujitsu ScanSnap ix500. It works fine on my laptop running jessie.
It does not work on my workstation running stretch.
I've tried to install die Version from experimenatal as well, it does not work
there as well.
I asked for help here already:

I am pretty certain it had worked on my workstation in November, but as I use
the scanner only ocassionally it could be that I was using my Laptop then and
forgot.
My current status is even worse that what I had described in the linked
elements above. At the moment I can not detect the scanner in any way on my
stretch workstation.
When I run lsusb it outputs:

That first entry is the Scanner.
When I run sane-find-scanner it outputs:

When I run sane-find-scanner on my jessie (without the scanner plugged it) it
does not say "SANE has been built without libusb support."
So, I assume that currently Debian-SANE cannot read from USB scanners? If not,
then the message should be different.
I don't have any more debugging info to share at the moment, but I can run any
command that could yield more info if required.
