Package: midori
Version: 0.2.7-1.1
Severity: normal
Saving file or webpage with very long filename (part after last "/",
or based on HTTP response header, for example when doing GET requiest with long
parameters)
do not work.
After changing filename in save dialog it properly save.
But with default value of filename, midori tells user (using completion
notification
and 100% progress bar), that file was saved. Nothing such. Directory do not
have
such file.
In terminal, one can see, i.e.
gvfs-open: file:///tmp/videos%3Fytsession=dm-

-q0pSE23ykv893rsmum80Ko-XmY2E": Too long filename
Please, show proper notification, and try opening file in the save dialog, and
if it fails
for some reason (write access denied, or too long filename, quota overrun,
etc),
give proper error message and proper hint (like change directory, change
filename)
It also looks that completion notification will show anyway on any completion
status. I.e. if when download of big file is in progress, and there would be
write error (due to the lack of freespace, or something other), it still shows
good (green) completion status. It should show completion status but with
error, and allow for restarting download.
Thanks.
