Package: midori
Version: 0.4.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi!

I noticed another little flaw in Midori.

When I middle-click on a (normal) link, the referenced URL is opened
in a new tab. This is great and very useful.
The new tab inherits the "browsing history" from the "parent" tab,
in the sense that I can use the back button in the new tab and go back
to the previously visited URLs. This is also very nice.

When I click on a link with the target="_blank" property, the referenced
URL is opened in a new tab, even when I use the left mouse button.
As far as I know, this is mandated by W3C standards
(see http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/types.html#h-6.16), so that's OK,
even though I don't especially like web sites that force me to follow
links in separate windows or tabs...

The flaw I noticed is that, when I follow a target="_blank" link,
the new tab fails to inherit the "browsing history" from the "parent"
tab: as a consequence, I cannot use the back button in the new tab,
in case I want to go back to the previously visited URLs.

I hope this flaw can be fixed.
