Package: get-iplayer
Version: 2.87-2
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Called as follows, Get I Player lists programme categories for TV programmes
and podcasts
but not for radio programmes:
get_iplayer --listformat "<index>☞ <type>, <name> − <episode> ⌛<duration>
⬍<channel> ☛<categories> •<pid>" …
→
749☞ tv, Lauren & Myles' Fab Five − Episode 1 ⌛120 ⬍CBBC
☛Children's,Entertainment & Comedy •b04wwcx0
221867☞ podcast, The Archers − Archers: 2014-12-28 Sunday ⌛13:16 ⬍BBC Radio 4
☛Arts
•http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/radio4/archers/archers_20141228-1920a.mp3
12968☞ radio, The World This Weekend − 28/12/2014 ⌛1800 ⬍BBC Radio 4 ☛ •b04vjz0g
OTOH, ‘--info’ always lists the categories for any type of programme, including
radio
programmes.
On the positive side, ‘<duration>’ seems to work for all programmes now whereas
it often
did not in the past.
I would like to add that I am very grateful for this extremely useful piece of
free
software and for the quick update to the new BBC API. Great − keep up the good
work!
Axel Stammler
