Package: djvulibre-dbg
Version: 3.5.25-1
Severity: important

I tried to debug a program using DjVuLibre, but gdb says that the files in /usr/lib/debug don't contain any debug information:

$ gdb -q djvused
Reading symbols from /usr/bin/djvused...Reading symbols from
/usr/lib/debug/.build-id/74/9e2f0b0edb4976c646bbb500edeba8c8105b1d.debug...
warning:
"/usr/lib/debug/.build-id/74/9e2f0b0edb4976c646bbb500edeba8c8105b1d.debug":
separate debug info file has no debug info
(no debugging symbols found)...done.
(no debugging symbols found)...done.

Looking at the build log, the library was not built with -g, contrary to the recommendation of Policy ยง10.1.

I believe this was fixed years ago:

 djvulibre (3.5.25.3-1) unstable; urgency=low

   [...]
   * keep debugging symbols
