Package: lists.debian.org
Version:

I've been trying hard for several weeks to subscribe to some Debian
mailing lists with no success.

Arising from my online subscription requests I receive Smartlist request
for confirmation messages, but simply replying to these messages brings
no response. No error messages are generated. All my other email sent
via Exim4 and claws-mail functions normally.

I've also tried sending email to :

[email protected] and
[email protected]

in order to report the problem but receive no response from those
addresses either.

My only option seems to be to file this as a bug as I am unable to make
contact with lists.debian.org.

Hey, I'm just closing this bug as we did receive the original e-mail,
but it just slipped through.

Feel free to reopen it if my previous message to you did not go through.

The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing
that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot
possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to
get at or repair.
