Hello,
I am using Nagios and Debian environment to monitor my company IT
infrastructure. I have a pre-defined Perl code which monitors the health
of a server. When compiling the code directly I didn't receive any error
and received the output as server health is OK. But when running the
code via that monitoring tool (Nagios which is mentioned before) I am
receiving error as "Use of :locked is deprecated at
/usr/share/perl5/Net/SNMP.pm" in several lines but the status of the
server seems to be OK.
I have upgraded the libnet-snmp-perl package but still I am seeing same
error.
Technical details:
Debian GNU/Linux 6.0 (Virtual Machine)
Perl 5
libnet-snmp-perl 6.x
Anybody out there to help me?

I'm not fully sure, what version of the package you are talking about
here, since 6.0 was never released in Debian (but 6.0.1) and below you
write, that you are working with Debian 6, which comes with
libnet-snmp-perl 5.2.0-4.

This issue was fixed upstream in version 6.0.1:
| RELEASE 6.0.1 SEP-09-2010

| - Removed all occurrences of the "locked" attribute that was
| deprecated in Perl 5.12.0.
So I think that we can close this bug report here, because it was
fixed with Debian version 6.0.1-1 (and 6.0.1-2), which are available
in Debian since jessie (7).
