Package: libsigrok
Version: 0.3.0-1
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
libsigrok has a build-depends on libftdi-dev. Upstream has released a new
major version with a slightly different API and based on libusb 1.0. The
old libusb and libftdi versions should be considered deprecated as they
are not maintained upstream anymore.
If libsigrok supports the new libftdi1 library, please consider switching
the build-depends from libfdti-dev to libftdi1-dev. If not please inform
upstream that porting the software to the new API is recommended.
Thanks,
Aurelien
