I use hledger, and ledger-autosync looks like a nice helper tool (haven't
looked closer at it yet, though).
...but it recommends both hledger and ledger, which seems wrong: Those
are independent implementations of somewhat same tool.
I believe ledger-autosync should recommend either of those tools instead.
