I have detected that Debian's xdaliclock freezes when showing only
hours and minutes. From time to time it will wake up and show the
right time again, until it decides to refreeze. Making it show the
date is a manual way to get correct time again.

The original xdaliclock and the one from RH73 do not have the problem
when using the same command line. Using the cycle colour mode seems to
avoid it or minimize (could be a visual effect that makes it appear to
say more in some colours than others). But with the example cmd line,
it can stay showing the same time for 5 or even 10 minutes, so in that
case is very noticeable.

The command I am using in two different machines is:
$ xdaliclock -24 -noseconds -font "-*-blackforest-normal-r-*--30-*-*-*-*-*-*-*"
&

To verify, periodically check that the displayed time is the same than
what you can get by other means from the same computer.

Given that I have removed the code that has probably triggered this
freeze, I cannot reproduce it, both bug submitters haven't replied to
my question and one address even bounces I now close this bug.

Cheers,
