Dear Maintainer,
After upgrading from stretch to testing the package
mate-desktop-environment,
it becomes impossible to open panel properties window
in a conventionnal way (right click > properties)
it says it fails to open
/usr/share/mate-panel/ui/panel-properties-dialog-gtk3.ui
I workarounded the problem in my system by doing a link...

sudo ln -s /usr/share/mate-panel/ui/panel-properties-dialog.ui
/usr/share/mate-panel/ui/panel-properties-dialog-gtk3.ui
