Package: lvm2
Version: 2.02.167-1
Severity: minor

Hello maintainers,

while trying to backport lvm2 from stretch (2.02.167-1) against a jessie
chroot (with backports enabled, but only required packages installed),
the build fails with the following message:

| dh_systemd_start --no-start --no-restart-after-upgrade
lvm2-cluster-activation.service
| Unknown option: no-restart-after-upgrade
| dh_systemd_start: unknown option; aborting

installed debhelper is:

ii debhelper 9.20150101+deb8u2 all helper
programs for debian/rules

which is jessie's current version. After upgrading debhelper (and
dh-systemd) to 10.2.2~bpo8+1, building succeeds.

Debhelper's changelog says the --no-restart-after-upgrade option was
added in 9.20160306, you might consider updating the current versioned
dependency >> 9 to some higher version.

thanks,
Uli

Version: 2.02.175-1

With the use of compat 11 the debhelper build-dep was changed to
something current.
