Package: icedove
Version: 1:45.6.0-1~deb8u1
Severity: normal

The option in "Account Settings -->Server Settings-->Leave messages on server
->Until Idelete them" should remove deleted mails from server, during the next
sync. It works only with the mbox format. So I expect something is wrong here.
Tested with different mailhosts and new profiles.
Icedove in testing (45.6.0-2) and in sid (45.7.1-1) showing the same behavior.

Fixed in upstream: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1293770#c35

In my case, I had to create a new profile, otherwise it does not work.
