Package: obnam
Version: 1.8-1
Severity: normal

Hi Lars,

I've been trying out obnam, and recently had fsck complain of:

chunk 2100477175748869857 does not exist
file alexandria-hephaestus:('alexandria-hephaestus',
620):/bakfs/simplesnap/hephaestus/......
checksum whole-file checksum mismatch
...
chunk 618428262046615303 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615304 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615305 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615306 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615307 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615308 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615309 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615310 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615311 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615312 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615313 not used by anyone
chunk 618428262046615314 not used by anyone
....

However, it does not seem to take any action to remedy this. The
mismatch in particular seems caused by that missing chunk, but a
subsequent backup run did not re-upload it.

I suspect this issue arose due to storing on a davfs2-backed filesystem
during an Internet outage, so I do not suspect the program of being at
fault for the initial error, but if would be nice if it could provide a
way to repair the issue.

Thanks for obnam,

John
