Package: rxvt
Version: 1:2.6.4-14

Hi,

This is a regression from lenny.

On my desktop, I lost the ability to just launch rxvt from a xfce shortcut
and be able to enter ISO 8859-2 letters (Croatian letters) on the keyboard.
This was most annoying when I first encountered it. I figured out that I
need to open an rxvt, which initializes my shell that does export LANG=hr_HR
and other locale stuff, and then from that session I have to run a new rxvt
window which subsequently allows input of these characters.

I checked whether it was a generic X issue but it doesn't seem to be,
xev(1) shows cacute, zcaron and similar entries even when the environment
locale is clean.

Please fix this. TIA.

Thank you for your bug report. As rxvt has been replaced by rxvt-unicode in
Debian, I am closing this bug. If you can still reproduce this bug with urxvt,
please feel free to reopen this bug and reassign it to the rxvt-unicode package.

Best wishes,
Ryan
