Package: bind9
Version: 1:9.11.2+dfsg-7
After upgrading from 1:9.11.2+dfsg-5, I noticed various conffile
changes which seem to oversights:
,----
| $ debdiff bind9_1%3a9.11.2+dfsg-5_i386.deb bind9_1%3a9.11.2+dfsg-7_i386.deb |
grep -v /usr | head -n18
| [The following lists of changes regard files as different if they have
| different names, permissions or owners.]
|
| Files in second .deb but not in first
| -------------------------------------
| -rw-r--r-- root/root /etc/bind/named.conf.options
| -rw-r--r-- root/root /etc/network/if-down.d/bind9
| -rw-r--r-- root/root /etc/network/if-up.d/bind9/bind9
| -rw-r--r-- root/root /etc/ppp/ip-down.d/bind9
| -rw-r--r-- root/root /etc/ppp/ip-up.d/bind9
|
| Files in first .deb but not in second
| -------------------------------------
| -rw-r--r-- root/root /etc/bind/db.255
| -rwxr-xr-x root/root /etc/network/if-down.d/bind9
| -rwxr-xr-x root/root /etc/network/if-up.d/bind9
| -rwxr-xr-x root/root /etc/ppp/ip-down.d/bind9
| -rwxr-xr-x root/root /etc/ppp/ip-up.d/bind9
`----
Summary:
- /etc/bind/named.conf.options is now a conffile, which used to be not
the case.
- /etc/bin/db.255 has disappeared, but is left on the system as an
obsolete conffile.
- /etc/network/if-up.d/bind9 has been renamed to
/etc/network/if-up.d/bind9/bind9 which looks rather odd.
- Various scripts are no longer executable which likely means that they
will no longer run.
Please adjust the severity as needed. I have the feeling that "serious"
is the right one, but I need to go to bed now.
