Plinth is very much tied to Debian. Even if it is not, we will want to have
Debian as first class candidate for Plinth. So, every release of Plinth would
mean release of Plinth Debian package.
Merging the two repositories will also make creating Debian packages easier. I
will make releases faster and of higher quality. We can eliminate maintenance
of Debian patches.
We can make renaming of Plinth to freedombox much faster and easier. Breaking
into smaller packages will also be easier.
We can move the debian directory to Plinth upstream and write the next
changelog entry with native package version number. Unless I missed something
serious that is all there should be to it.
