Package: sysvinit
Version: 2.78-4
Severity: normal

In an attempt to put a "safe" login on a vc for the next time that pam
conspires to keep me from logging in or running su/sudo, I tried to put this
entry in /etc/inittab:

6:23:respawn:/sbin/sulogin /dev/tty6

However, sulogin just grabs whatever vc is "current" when it is run,
causing it to argue for /dev/console (or some other vt if you are switched).
Oddly, when run from an xterm, it does find the right vc.
