In particular, the following things would be helpful: * tracking upstream -- they make no explicit releases, and their mailing list is mostly silent. as you can see from the fact that the new version is uploaded as an NMU, i'm very behind here. * verifying functionality and reporting bugs -- for example, i've seen crashes of mpd on armel systems when using the new version of libvorbisidec, but haven't had the time or resources to nail down exactly what is going wrong.
