--- Begin Message ---Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal Please remove src:jhc from archive. I am a sponsor of jhc package (not user). It has RC bug since 2015/7 that depends on REMOVED pacakges that are libghc-hssyck-dev (REMOVED 2015/7) and drift (REMOVED 2017/1) . The maintainer of jhc package says he does not have time to fix them, maintain it. Actually, he could do only initial uploading and could not follow new upstream releases . I called for adoption of this to debian-haskell ML, but no response . So, I request removal of jhc package as his delegate with his permission. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/jhc https://bugs.debian.org/854136 https://bugs.debian.org/792614 https://bugs.debian.org/859484 https://tracker.debian.org/news/410925 http://repetae.net/dist/ https://lists.debian.org/debian-haskell/2018/03/msg00000.html -- Regards, dai GPG Fingerprint = 0B29 D88E 42E6 B765 B8D8 EA50 7839 619D D439 668E

--- Begin Message ---We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following package(s) have been removed from experimental: jhc | 0.8.0~darcs20120314-1 | source, amd64 jhc-doc | 0.8.0~darcs20120314-1 | all ------------------- Reason ------------------- RoQA; RC-buggy; FTBFS; unmaintained ---------------------------------------------- Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug. The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next dinstall run at the earliest. Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is really needed, please contact them if this should be the case. Bugs which have been reported against this package are not automatically removed from the Bug Tracking System. Please check all open bugs and close them or re-assign them to another package if the removed package was superseded by another one. The version of this package that was in Debian prior to this removal can still be found using http://snapshot.debian.org/. Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you have further comments please address them to 895...@bugs.debian.org. The full log for this bug can be viewed at https://bugs.debian.org/895098 This message was generated automatically; if you believe that there is a problem with it please contact the archive administrators by mailing ftpmas...@ftp-master.debian.org.
