Package: claws-mail
Version: 3.14.1-3+b1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
After upgrading from the previous version (sorry I don't know which one
exactly) I noticed
that the logic, which email is being selected after deleting an email, has
changed in a very
bad way which causes me to repeateldy deleting emails I did not want to delete.
I sort my emails having the newest at the bottom.
Usualy there are a lot of emails I can just delete.
Previously I marked an unread mail, and hit delete, then the next unread
(below) was being
marked etc, so I could just repeateldy hit delete until I got to an email I
wanted to read.
After this update, that logic has changed, after deleting an email, the one
'above' is being
selected, which usualy is an email I have read and need to keep. So I need to
manualy selecting
the next unread one disrupting my work flow. And as I am used to just hit
delete, I often
delete the emails I want to keep by error.
I did not find any way to configure this behaviour.
